Bible Verses about 'Rise on the wings of an eagle'
- When your eyes light on it, it is gone,
for suddenly it sprouts wings,
flying like an eagle toward heaven. - But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.

- And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.
- And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
- Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
- For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident. - As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning.
- Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me free. - Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
- I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak.
- The vexation of a fool is known at once,
but the prudent ignores an insult. - Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
- To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.
- O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar. - Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

- Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. - Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,
but he who rejects reproof leads others astray. - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
- You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- If one turns away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer is an abomination. - But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- Do not envy a man of violence
and do not choose any of his ways,
for the devious person is an abomination to the Lord,
but the upright are in his confidence. - Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “an idol has no real existence,” and that “there is no God but one.”
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
but those who act faithfully are his delight. - Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land,
who do his just commands;
seek righteousness; seek humility;
perhaps you may be hidden
on the day of the anger of the Lord. - Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
- Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
- So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.
- So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love. - Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
