For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. | For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. |
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. | But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. |

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. | Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. |
And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. | And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. |
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. | And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. |
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? | Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? |
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. | Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. |
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. | For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. | For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. |
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. |
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. | For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. |
As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” | For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. |
For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” | For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. |
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. | So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. |
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! | O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! |
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. | For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. |
