- I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

- And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world,
received up into glory. - Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
- For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. - And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

- For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye. - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
- Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.
- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
- Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
- The words of a talebearer are as wounds,
and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. - Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
