| Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. | But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. | May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans! | Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. |
| And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. | And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. |
