- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse. - I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
- And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
- Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful. - He who builds His layers in the sky,
And has founded His strata in the earth;
Who calls for the waters of the sea,
And pours them out on the face of the earth—
The Lord is His name. - I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
- He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
- But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
- A little that a righteous man has
Is better than the riches of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
But the Lord upholds the righteous. - Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever. - Who has performed and done it,
Calling the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first;
And with the last I am He.’ - The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein. - The way of the Lord is strength for the upright,
But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. - For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,
And will not at all acquit the wicked.
The Lord has His way
In the whirlwind and in the storm,
And the clouds are the dust of His feet. - The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the Lord! - Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
- Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
