Those (3/4)

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.
The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding.
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him.
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.

My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
