Through Christ (3/4)

  • Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
  • You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
  • The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
  • His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
  • The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
  • For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
  • Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
  • In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.
  • Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
  • Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
  • God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
  • For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
  • And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
  • I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
  • We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
  • And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
  • Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
  • You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
  • Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
  • In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
  • Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
  • He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
