A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

If another disciple sins, you must rebuke the offender, and if there is repentance, you must forgive. And if the same person sins against you seven times a day, and turns back to you seven times and says, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive.If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
For “Those who desire life and desire to see good days, let them keep their tongues from evil and their lips from speaking deceit; let them turn away from evil and do good; let them seek peace and pursue it.”For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body.The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats.The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
But when he heard this, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

But Jesus has now obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises.But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
