However, if the wicked renounce all of the sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is right and just, they shall surely live; they shall not die. | But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. |
Those who place their hope in the Lord will regain their strength. They will soar as with eagles’ wings, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not become faint. | But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. |

Nevertheless, do not rejoice in the knowledge that the spirits are subject to you. Rejoice rather that your names are inscribed in heaven. | Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. |
The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith. | Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. |
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; those who are guided by it will grow in understanding. His praise will last forever. | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. |
Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. Shun evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. | Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. |
All those who have sinned outside the Law will perish outside the Law, and all who sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law. | For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law. |
And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good. | And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? |
I ask that from the riches of his glory he may grant through his Spirit that you be strengthened with power in your inner being and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. | That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. |
The reward of humility and fear of the Lord is wealth, honor, and life. | By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. |
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. | Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. |
And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. | And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. |
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. | Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. |
When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you. | Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. |
