- Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous.
His ears listen to their cry. - Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh,
but those who do the truth are his delight. - In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing, but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.
- But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
- Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to Yahweh’s law. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. - Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself.
- “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
- For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.
- Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- But he knows the way that I take.
When he has tried me, I will come out like gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps.
I have kept his way, and not turned away. - Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.
- Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. - Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past,
like a watch in the night. - Before the mountains were born,
before you had formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God. - You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me.
- Knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things like silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish or spot, the blood of Christ.
- For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

- Blessed are those who mourn,

- For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?
