Whoever (2/4)

Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but he who mingles with fools will suffer harm.Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.
Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I dwell in him.Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
The one who pays heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe in him already stands condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
Adulterers! Do you not know that love of the world results in enmity with God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a lover of the world makes himself an enemy of God.You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
But whoever endures to the end will be saved. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
God abides in anyone who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, and that person abides in God.All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
Therefore, you have no excuse, whoever you may be, when you pass judgment on others. For in judging others you condemn yourself, since you are doing the same things. You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.
No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy.People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
But whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty. The water that I will give him will become a spring of water within him welling up to eternal life. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.
Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, ‘Streams of living water shall flow from within him.’Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’
Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so whoever feeds upon me will live because of me.I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.
And the world with all its enticements is passing away, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.
Jesus then said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even though he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.
Then it will come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Whoever gains wisdom loves his own soul; one who cherishes understanding will prosper. To acquire wisdom is to love yourself; people who cherish understanding will prosper.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may attain eternal life. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
Then he sat down, summoned the Twelve, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he must become the last of all and the servant of all.”He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.”
This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.
Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent, but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent.Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.
But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be accomplished for him.I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.

However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God.But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.

Bible verse of the day

What god can compare with you,
the God who takes away guilt
and forgives the transgressions
of the remnant of your people?
You will not allow your anger to fester forever,
for your delight is in bestowing mercy.
