- The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it,
the world, and those who live in it. - Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!
- This also comes from the Lord of hosts;
he is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in wisdom. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness;
answer me in your righteousness. - And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
- And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - Let all that you do be done in love.
- Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.
- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- But I trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
- Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord guards the city,
the guard keeps watch in vain. - But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
- Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
- Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way. - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in your word. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. - The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
- And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
- Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways.
