For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.Since in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of circumcision is worth anything. All that matters is faith expressing itself through love.
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.Pleasing words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and affording health to the body.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.The explanation of your words gives light and imparts understanding to the simple.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.Our temporary light afflictions are preparing for us an incomparable weight of eternal glory.

It teaches us to reject godless ways and worldly desires, and in the present age to lead lives that are temperate, just, and godly.
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”

Amen.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.Therefore say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: The fulfillment of my words will not be delayed any longer. What I have said will be done now. This is the word of the Lord God.”
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.My son, concentrate attentively on my words; pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you. Do not let them slip from your mind; keep them forever in your heart.

The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.The Lord is righteous in all his ways and merciful in everything he does.
