- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom should I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom should I be afraid? - You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain.

Do I not fill heaven and earth? - Reflect on the Lord and his strength;
seek his face continually. - Entrust everything that you do to the Lord,
and your plans will turn out to be successful. - Blessed are all those who fear the Lord
and walk in his ways. - The Lord will fulfill his plan for me.
Your kindness, O Lord, endures forever;
do not forsake the work of your hands. - Indeed, who is God except the Lord?
Who is the Rock besides our God? - If the Lord does not build the house,
those who construct it labor in vain.
If the Lord does not guard the city,
those who keep watch over it do so in vain. - Arise, O Lord! Lift up your hand, O God!
Do not forget the afflicted. - Let us examine and test our ways
and return to the Lord. - For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:
If you seek me, you will survive. - A man may plan his own course,
but the Lord makes his steps secure. - The fear of the Lord provides instruction in wisdom,
and to be humble is the way to honor. - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - The Lord makes a man’s steps secure
when he approves of his conduct. - Return, rebel Israel, says the Lord.
I will not look upon you in anger.
For I am merciful, says the Lord;
my wrath will not continue forever. - Seek the Lord while he still may be found;
call to him when he is close at hand. - For who is God except the Lord?
Who is a rock aside from our God? - Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues. - With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - Bless the Lord, O my soul;
my entire being, bless his holy name. - The Lord makes poor and makes rich,
he humbles and he also exalts. - The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.
- You, O Lord, are light for my lamp;
O my God, you make my darkness turn to light.
