but the Lord weighs the heart. - Now let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful in your judgments, for the Lord, our God, will not tolerate the perversion of justice, or partiality, or the taking of bribes.
- For the Lord himself is the one who bestows wisdom;
from his mouth come forth knowledge and understanding. - For the Lord takes delight in his people,
and he crowns the humble with salvation.
