Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.”
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
The name of the righteous is used in blessings, but the name of the wicked will rot.We have happy memories of the godly, but the name of a wicked person rots away.
“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?
Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you!
When anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned.When you become aware of your guilt in any of these ways, you must confess your sin.
There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.”
For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.
Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.Think carefully about what is right, and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don’t know God at all.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.

We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations.
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people.
If anyone sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though they do not know it, they are guilty and will be held responsible.Suppose you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin.

The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
