Chinese (traditional)Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you.
Bind them around your neck.
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor,
and good understanding in the sight of God and man. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him. He who is slow to anger has great understanding,
but he who has a quick temper displays folly. The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. Don’t envy the man of violence.
Choose none of his ways.
For the perverse is an abomination to Yahweh,
but his friendship is with the upright. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. He who follows after righteousness and kindness
finds life, righteousness, and honor. Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. Unless Yahweh builds the house,
they who build it labor in vain.
Unless Yahweh watches over the city,
the watchman guards it in vain. Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh. But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear— not by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your “yes” be “yes”, and your “no”, “no”, so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy. Who can find a worthy woman?
For her value is far above rubies. Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. He who heeds the Word finds prosperity.
Whoever trusts in Yahweh is blessed. I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ For his anger is but for a moment.
His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may stay for the night,
but joy comes in the morning. Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world. In you, Yahweh, I take refuge.
Let me never be disappointed.
Deliver me in your righteousness. I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye? For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity,
whose name is Holy, says:
“I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite.” Commit your deeds to Yahweh,
and your plans shall succeed. Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Also, do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. Yahweh says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, ‘Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.Next verse! With image
