Chinese (traditional)The Lord is like a father to his children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear him. As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him. As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,
and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
and the fields lie empty and barren;
even though the flocks die in the fields,
and the cattle barns are empty,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord!
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!Next verse!With image
