- For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
- Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.
- God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?
- I, yes I, am the one who comforts you.
So why are you afraid of mere humans,
who wither like the grass and disappear? - How joyful are those who fear the Lord—
all who follow his ways! - God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.
- But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.
- Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,
the one who gains understanding. - Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”
- The Lord is close to all who call on him,
yes, to all who call on him in truth. - Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?
- Who can find a virtuous and capable wife?
She is more precious than rubies. - Our help is from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Joyful are people of integrity,
who follow the instructions of the Lord. - Who is the King of glory?
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—
he is the King of glory. - How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of the messenger who brings good news,
the good news of peace and salvation,
the news that the God of Israel reigns! - But the Lord watches over those who fear him,
those who rely on his unfailing love. - Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. - What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
- And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
- But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.
- Take care of any widow who has no one else to care for her.
Praise the Lord!
How joyful are those who fear the Lord
and delight in obeying his commands.Who is the King of glory?
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—
he is the King of glory. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”Next verse! With image
