The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. - Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,

who walk according to the law of the Lord. - Blessed are those who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart. - Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil,
but those who promote peace have joy. - The one who gets wisdom loves life;
the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper. - But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
- Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
- Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. - Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted. - What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
