Chinese (traditional)Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church. Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. While Peter was kept in prison, the church prayed fervently to God for him. Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him. So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made to God intensely by the church. While Peter was thus imprisoned, the Church prayed fervently to God for him. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.Next verse! With image
