Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. | Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied. |
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. | Blessed is the one whose offense is forgiven, whose sin is erased. |
The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. | The righteous is remembered with blessings, but the name of the wicked fades away. |
