Evangelism (2/2)

For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
But you are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people claimed by God as his own possession,” so that you may proclaim the praise of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
“Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”
And every day, both in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Jesus as the Christ.Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
He said to them, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”
Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”
For we are God’s coworkers; you are God’s field, God’s building. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
I then heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me!”I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
I did not hesitate to tell you what was for your benefit as I proclaimed the word to you and taught you publicly as well as from house to house. How I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house.
Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son and in the Father. Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
But I have had help from God to this very day, and I stand here and testify to both the lowly and the great. I assert nothing more than what the Prophets and Moses said would occur: that the Christ must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to the people and to the Gentiles.Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen, how the Christ must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles.
All this has been done by God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation. But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation.
Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was made visible in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed to the Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory.
Stand firm, then, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness clothing you, and with your feet shod in zeal to proclaim the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold in your hand the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
And the good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the entire world as a testimony offered to all the nations. And then the end will come. This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Jesus traveled all throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and curing every type of disease and illness among the people.Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
Cure the sick who are there, and say, ‘The kingdom of God has come unto you.’Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘God’s Kingdom has come near to you.’

Bible verse of the day

May the Lord, our God, be with us, just as he was with our fathers; may he not leave us or abandon us.
