Bible Verses about Generosity

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.A generous person will be enriched; he who refreshes others will also be refreshed.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Each person should give as much as he has decided in his heart, not with reluctance or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.Enriched in every way, you will be able to practice all your acts of generosity, which, through our intervention, will result in thanksgiving to God.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.
For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. The future bodes well for him who is generous in helping those in need and who conducts his affairs with justice.
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness. The one who provides seed for sowing and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not demand the return of what is yours from the one who has taken it.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. He gives strength to the weary and new vigor to those who are powerless.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.If someone among you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.Remember this: if you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly, and if you sow generously, you will reap generously as well.
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?If you, then, despite your evil nature, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
