| Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. | Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help. |

| A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. | The future bodes well for him who is generous in helping those in need and who conducts his affairs with justice. |

| He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. | No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy. |
| But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. | However, the gift is not like the transgression. | Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. | Not because of any righteous deeds on our part but because of his mercy, he saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. |
