God (4/4)

I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
I am the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. You know no God but me, nor any savior other than me.Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
But do not ignore this one fact, beloved: with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Let everyone submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which derives from God, and whatever authorities exist have been instituted by God.Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it.The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
I will rejoice and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Adulterers! Do you not know that love of the world results in enmity with God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a lover of the world makes himself an enemy of God.Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
For who is God except the Lord? Who is a rock aside from our God?For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?
But the Almighty we cannot find; he is unequaled in power and judgment, and in his righteousness he will not violate justice.Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
He reveals deep and hidden mysteries and knows what lies in the darkness, for light dwells with him.He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
For to you a thousand years are like a yesterday that has passed or one of the watches of the night. For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Our God is in heaven; he does whatever he pleases. But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
He builds his upper chambers in the heavens and establishes his vault of the sky over the earth— the Lord is his name.It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name.
I intend to prove the holiness of my great name which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. Thus, the nations will know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when through you I will display my holiness in their sight. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind; he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.”And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by force, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
You believe that there is one God. You do well to assert that. But even the demons believe and tremble.Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
And ‘to love him with all your heart, and with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself,’ is worth more than any burnt offerings and sacrifices. And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
