Jesus (8/8)

  • God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.
  • Now the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting,
    “Hosanna to the Son of David;
    Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord;
    Hosanna in the highest!”
  • By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now it is already in the world.
  • You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by the Law; you have fallen from grace.
  • Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
  • And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
  • And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.”
  • I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
  • Jesus was going about in all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
  • He is also the head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
  • For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every person according to his deeds.
  • All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.
  • Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
