Law (2/5)

And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. For sin is no longer to have any power over you, since you are not under the Law but under grace.
What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.
And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.Observe the ordinances of the Lord, your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and what he witnessed in writing in the law of Moses. In this way you will prosper in whatever you do and wherever you go.
Judge not, that you be not judged.Do not judge, so that you in turn may not be judged.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and every other commandment are all summed up in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone. He proclaimed his covenant to you which he ordered you to fulfill, the Ten Commandments, that he wrote upon two tablets of stone.
Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble. Those who love your law have great peace; they encounter no stumbling blocks.
You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.Do not make gods from silver or from gold instead of me. You will not make them for yourselves.
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.
We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. We have sinned and done what is wrong, we have acted wickedly and rebelled, we have rejected your commandments and your laws.
The wise of heart will receive commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.A wise man will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to grief.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you.
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. This is the end of my teaching. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for that is the responsibility of everyone.
In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.I rejoice in following your statutes more than I would rejoice in endless riches.
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!Alleluia. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his precepts.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.Never will I forget your commands, for through them you have given me life.
But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. However, the one who looks intently at the perfect law of freedom and perseveres—not forgetting what he has heard but putting it into practice—will be blessed in everything he does.
Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain.
For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. For from the beginning you have heard the message that we should love one another.

Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. You must understand, brethren, that it is through him that forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you. All those who believe are justified from all the things from which they could not be justified by the Law of Moses.
