And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, keep my commands.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go.
Judge not, that you be not judged.Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone. He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets.
You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith? So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.
But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
