- This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
- For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.

who walk according to Yahweh’s law. - But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
- This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.
- ‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins; and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
- My son, don’t forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for they will add to you length of days,
years of life, and peace. - He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die. - He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
- He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
- There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
- One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
- Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.
- We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
