- For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it passes by,
Or like a watch in the night. - Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance.

- For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.
- Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.
- Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink, and enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he labors under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward.
- For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
- So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
- Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
- Let the wicked abandon his way,
And the unrighteous person his thoughts;
And let him return to the Lord,
And He will have compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon. - Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.”
- Act as free people, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond-servants of God.
- Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you.”
- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!
- And He humbled you and let you go hungry, and fed you with the manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, in order to make you understand that man shall not live on bread alone, but man shall live on everything that comes out of the mouth of the Lord.
- Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and take fruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.
- Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it.
- Let’s examine and search out our ways,
And let’s return to the Lord. - But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.
- For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
