Life (4/6)

Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live.”
The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.
Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord!
For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.”For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance.
The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do.Go, eat your bread with joy, And drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works.
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night.
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
