| Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. | Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. |
| Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. | And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” |

| And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. | Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” |
| For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? | For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? |
| And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. | And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” |

| And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. | And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” |
| And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. | And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. |
