But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?

I have seen that every labor and every skill which is done is the result of rivalry between a person and his neighbor. This too is futility and striving after wind.Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
And he would answer and say to them, “The one who has two tunics is to share with the one who has none; and the one who has food is to do likewise.”In reply he said to them, “Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise.”
The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke.Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats.
As they had their pasture, they became satisfied, And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud; Therefore they forgot Me.When I fed them, they were satisfied; they were satisfied, and their heart was proud; therefore they forgot me.
