Bible Verses about Pride

When pride comes, then comes dishonor; But with the humble there is wisdom. When pride comes, then comes disgrace; but wisdom is with the humble.
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride, arrogance, the evil way, And the perverted mouth, I hate. The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.
Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are.
A person’s pride will bring him low, But a humble spirit will obtain honor.A person's pride will bring humiliation, but one who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.
But the one who boasts is to boast in the Lord. For it is not the one who commends himself that is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God does not see as man sees, since man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
Before destruction the heart of a person is haughty, But humility goes before honor. Before destruction one's heart is haughty, but humility goes before honor.
And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. For all that is in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches—comes not from the Father but from the world.
And the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no human may boast before God.God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God.
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are truth, and his ways are justice; and he is able to bring low those who walk in pride.
Now the brother or sister of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position; but the rich person is to glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away.Let the believer who is lowly boast in being raised up, and the rich in being brought low, because the rich will disappear like a flower in the field.
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. As for those who in the present age are rich, command them not to be haughty, or to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but rather on God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
And if I give away all my possessions to charity, and if I surrender my body so that I may glory, but do not have love, it does me no good.If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
As they had their pasture, they became satisfied, And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud; Therefore they forgot Me.When I fed them, they were satisfied; they were satisfied, and their heart was proud; therefore they forgot me.
