| However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God. | But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God. |
| When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable. | One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination. |
| To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart. | I delight to do Your will, my God; Your Law is within my heart. |
| I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch that does not bear fruit, and every branch that does he prunes to make it bear even more. | I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. |

If you follow all the ways that I command you, then you will prosper. | But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you shall walk entirely in the way which I command you, so that it may go well for you.’ |
| The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today. | So the Lord commanded us to follow all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our own good always and for our survival, as it is today. |
