- Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge:
but he that hateth reproof is brutish. - A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. - The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:
but the slothful shall be under tribute. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.Next verse!With image
