| The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth. | The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the mind of the wicked is of little worth. |
| I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. | I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing. |

| And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us. | If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right. |

| Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. | Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith. |
| He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. | The Rock, his work is perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God, without deceit, just and upright is he. |
