Romans 13 - NKJV & NRSV

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God.
For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.For the same reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, busy with this very thing.
Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.
Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

Bible verse of the day

Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice!
Let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications.
