- Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,
and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
and the fields lie empty and barren;
even though the flocks die in the fields,
and the cattle barns are empty,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord!
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! - For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- My victory and honor come from God alone.
He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. - Others were given in exchange for you.
I traded their lives for yours
because you are precious to me.
You are honored, and I love you. - Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.

Then we will be with the Lord forever.

you are my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.

and my place of safety. - O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed;
if you save me, I will be truly saved.
My praises are for you alone! - For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
