Bible Verses about '1 Corinthians 7:3'

The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband. The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband. But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn’t tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.”Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.Yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. But I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.
No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.
Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”
Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.Wake up righteously and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
