2 Corinthians (2/4)

No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor.Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other.
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and of spirit, making holiness perfect in the fear of God.
For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens. For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.
Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. For we are God's servants, working together; you are God's field, God's building.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.Because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless, indeed, you fail to meet the test!
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.
For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
But because of sexual immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband. But because of cases of sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love. And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God.So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
For since by a man death came, by a Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being.
God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.Come to a sober and right mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf. For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.
If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
But just as it is written: “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him”
For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God.

If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.Next verse! With image
