But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. | However, if the wicked renounce all of the sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is right and just, they shall surely live; they shall not die. |
When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long. | As long as I remained silent, my body wasted away as the result of my groaning throughout the day. |

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. | Now, if you will obey my voice and keep my covenant, you will be my own possession from among all the peoples, for the entire earth is mine. |
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. | When you search for me, you will find me. When you seek me with all your heart. |
If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. | As much as possible, and to the extent of your ability, live in peace with everyone. |
For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. | For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. |
Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. | Ensure that the path you tread is level, and then your ways will be sure. |
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. | And the good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the entire world as a testimony offered to all the nations. And then the end will come. |
For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth. | For the word of the Lord is true, and he is faithful in everything he does. |
Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase. | Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your crops. |
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. | O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, filled with kindness for all who cry to you. |
For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. | For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all is God. |
He covets greedily all day long, But the righteous gives and does not spare. | All day long the godless man continues to covet, whereas the righteous man gives unsparingly. |
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. | In my anguish I cried out; the Lord heard my plea, and I was saved from all my troubles. |
In all labor there is profit, But idle chatter leads only to poverty. | Diligent labor always yields profit, but idle conversation only leads to poverty. |
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. | Through him all things came into existence, and without him there was nothing. That which came to be. |
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” | Above all, maintain the fervor of your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. |
And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. | And when he had been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. |
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. | The misfortunes of the righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him, from all of them. |
As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. | The way of God is blameless, and the Lord’s promise proves true; he is a shield to all who flee to him for safety. |
Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. | If you heed the voice of the Lord, your God, and you carefully observe all of the commandments that I have given you today, then the Lord, your God, will lift you up above all the other nations upon the earth. |
As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. | The way of God is blameless; the Lord’s promise has proved true. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him. |
Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. | Repent and renounce all your transgressions. Otherwise your iniquity will prove to be your downfall. |
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. | However, the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you. |
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. | Let your kindness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. |
