- Also delight yourself in Yahweh,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - ‘For in him we live, move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’

- For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
- For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity,
whose name is Holy, says:
“I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite.” - I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
- The vine has dried up, and the fig tree withered—
the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree,
even all of the trees of the field are withered;
for joy has withered away from the sons of men. - Yahweh God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand, and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever—” Therefore Yahweh God sent him out from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
- We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
