Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. | Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. |
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. | See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. |

Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. | Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. |
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. | For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. |
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble. | Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. |
