| For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we too are his offspring.’ | For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. |

| Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. | Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. |
