| If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. | If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people. |

| And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. | So the Lord commanded us to follow all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our own good always and for our survival, as it is today. |
| Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. | With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints. |

| And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. | And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ. |
