| Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. | And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. | And I say to you: You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld will not prevail against it. |
| And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. | And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask him, we may be sure that all we ask of him will be ours. |

| Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. | So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. |
| This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. | Do not let this book of the law be absent from your mouth; meditate upon it day and night, so that you might carefully observe everything that is written in it.
