He went into the house of God (during the days when Abiathar was high priest) and broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat. He also gave some to his companions.” Then Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath!”One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and as his disciples walked along, they began to pick some heads of grain. The Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?” He answered, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need? In the days of Abiathar the high priest, he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions.” Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”

Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth.The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
