Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. | You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. |

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. | The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. |
And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. | Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. |

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. | So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. |
